Pacific Sintered Metals is the featured company in the January/February 2001 issue of the International Journal of Powder Metallurgy, published by APMI International. The article chronicled PSM's development from its 1956 founding to its prominent position in  P/M industry today. The author is especially impressed with PSM's commitment to quality, strong technical team, and its diversified product lines of conventional P/M, fully dense P/M, tool steels, metal bonded titanium carbide materials, and metal injection molding capability. As the article's author Peter K. Johnson put it, "Pacific Sintered Metals is a classic P/M success story with a California twist".
