In December of 2001, Pacific Sintered Metals completed the acquisition of all the assets of the former Alloy Technology International, a New York based manufacturer of Ferro-TiC^® metal bonded titanium carbide products. As a result of this transaction, PSM acquired all the equipment, inventory, the rights to ATI's patents, as well as the Ferro-TiC^® trade mark. 

To better serve its metal bonded TiC customer base, Pacific Sintered Metals has hired two of the key employees of the former Alloy Technology International, Tim Robisch, ATI sales manager, and Tim Vela, ATI operations manager. They will be responsible for the sales and manufacturing efforts for the Ferro-TiC product line.

Pacific Sintered Metals is currently setting up a east coast operation to concentrate on Ferro-TiC products and has started shipping products in December of 2001.
